Kinja'd!!!

We got a manual Cube in the UK. More fun to drive (in my opinion) and 0.5 seconds quicker to 60. Not bad.

Your Panda's a better cube than the Cube ever was.

I think they have quite different missions to be honest. The Cube is a rolling sofa with quirky looks that drives fairly softly (from what I've read). The Panda is more of a tiny van with warm hatch handling and a lot less comfort (it's good on B roads but HATES potholes). The Panda suits me a lot better but I do find the Cube interesting.

I'm referring more to their similarly cube-y aesthetics than anything else, to be honest. I think the Panda does 'cube' quite a bit better than the Cube itself.

The asymmetric windows were cool, though.

That's true. The long nose is what kills the cubeness of the Cube I think. The panda has a much more flat front (hence the severely low pedestrian crash rating). I do love the looks of the Cube though, I like quirky stuff I suppose.
